Finding our gap in the market
Drone warfare opened a new chapter of military strategy and exploded so quickly it left central commands and military leaders scrambling for idea. They have tried many responses but none were fit-all-scenarios solution. This leaves a gap in the market which Ararat Systems fills.
Currently, there are a few answers to drones on the battlefield. But they all come up short. Traditional air defence is extremely expensive and very often immobile, requiring installed launchers or launchers which can only be mounted to vehicles. Cost difference between anti aircraft systems and UAVs is so big, that the price of drones is insignificant on the graph above. This makes any exchange of this sort a net cost for the defending army, making them run out of resources faster.
Signal jamming and other types of electronic warfare have also been employed against UAVs. They, like traditional air defences, are effective but have significant limitations. Military grade equipment is not using open communication channels, meaning that any jamming must first find the right frequency and then break through the encryption. This takes time. And whenever the enemy notices the breach, they just move to a different frequency, forcing the defenders to restart the process.
Ararat Systems provides a tool which, unlike jamming, does not require time in order to be effective. A tool which, unlike traditional air defence systems, is as cheap as drones are making it a financially viable choice. A tool which, unlike microwave emitters, is lightweight and small enough to be portable. It can be an element of a soldier’s standard equipment, be put away safely in their backpack and deployed instantly when needed.
Ararat’s design is hardware only - making our device immune to hacking or jamming. Our generators are compact enough to be mounted onto any drone system, even the small UAVs with little lift. This allows our device to not only be used to defend troops on the ground, but intercept drone swarms in the air.
Ararat Systems was founded with a clear mission: to save lives. And our unique positioning in the defence contractors market allows us cover the sector which much of our competition overlooks because of profit margins lower than when selling complex missile systems. Ararat being a young venture also allows us to avoid falling for the trap of preparing for the previous war.
Ararat Systems protects tomorrow, today.
